Our part of the country escapes the extremes of heat or cold. In July-August, the sun rises at 05.00-05.30 and at around 18.00 disappears behind the mountain allowing for a long pleasant evening for sitting/dining outdoors. In December, it gets light at 07.00 and dark at 17.00 and often the sun is warm enough to sit outdoors. Snow is possible from December to February but it usually melts quickly.
