The Guest house and Loggia
The holiday house (approx. 200 m² in all) at Costa San Severo is a recently renovated farmhouse, made of natural stone, offering superior accommodation. It is across the courtyard (20 metres away) from the 15th century farmhouse where we live. There are 5 acres of - newly planted - olive trees and woodland, freely accessible to our guests.
You can rent either the apartment (sleeps 2-3) or the entire house (sleeps 6 adults + children). Whichever you choose, you and your party will be the sole guests.
The apartment (70 sq.m.) is composed of:
a twin bedroom, bathroom (WC, bidet, washbasin and shower) kitchen (gas cooker, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer) and downstairs living/extra bedroom.
The entire house comprises:
the apartment plus two more twin bedrooms, a second bathroom, a spacious living room and two attic rooms.
All guests have access to a library/music room (with books in various languages, a CD player and CDs). An outdoor covered sitting/dining area is adjacent. An additional secluded sitting area can be set up in the meadow, 30 metres away.
At ground level, there is a garage for up to 2 cars.
The house is centrally heated (gas and pellet stove).
Additional information
Laundry facilities are available on request (use of our washing machine and drier). An iron and ironing board are in the house.
Fresh eggs and seasonal vegetables available. When guests arrive, we supply a "welcome box", with local produce and a bottle of wine. We will be happy to ensure that bread, milk and any other essentials are available when you arrive.
There is a shop/café in the village of Seppio, (15 minutes walk), while larger shops/supermarkets and excellent inexpensive restaurants are within easy driving distance. All the nearby towns have a weekly market, each one on a different day.
A car is necessary. It is possible to rent a car locally.
